Other Ministries

“For as in one body we have many members, and all the members do not have the same function, so we, though many are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.” (Romans 12: 4- 5)

St. Paul teaches that all of us have been given personal gifts and talents by the Holy Spirit. He stresses that they are indispensable to the parish “for building up the Body of Christ” (1st Corinthians 12 and Ephesians 4).

Therefore, a goal at Saints Peter and Paul is to offer a wide variety of ministries for members so that they may become actively involved in this holy obligation. These represent opportunities for:

  • Spiritual growth through fellowship, study and service
  • Putting our gifts of the Holy Spirit at the disposal of Jesus Christ and His Church.

Saints Peter and Paul welcomes the Orthodox faithful in search of a new church home as well as those wishing to become Orthodox Christians. All new members are expected to become stewards of the church, supporting it by their regular attendance, personal ministry and financial commitment. In this way, each member contributes toward the building up of the Kingdom of God on earth – the Church.
