Sunday Soup Kitchen with St. Basil’s Philanthropy
Twice a year our parish hosts a soup kitchen in Evanston where we provide a full hot meal for 80 people in need. This past Sunday, some of our High School basketball players hosted.
New Location for Spring Session of Divorce Rebuilders Group
SSPP Divorce Rebuilders offers support, guidance and hope to those who are separated and divorced. We are delighted to announce that this Spring, meetings will begin Monday, February 17th through March 23rd, beginning at 7:45 pm -9:00 p.m. for six consecutive weeks at Holy Apostles Greek Orthodox Church, 2501 S. Wolf Rd., Westchester, IL.

On Saturday, January 11, over 100 parishioners from Saints Peter & Paul Orthodox Couples Club and Ascension of Our Lord Marriage Ministry gathered to test their trivia knowledge.

Pastoral Message for January 2020
Christ is Born! Glorify Him! After the period of preparation in the Advent Fast, we have now embarked on the twelve (12) days of Christmas—a period of feasting and rejoicing. We pray that our joy be in receiving the gift of Christ our Lord, born in the flesh, and not in any fleeting material gift of this world.
Church Basketball Season is off to a Great Start
Our Church Basketball season is off to a roaring start. We began practicing in early October and played our first games in early November.
Thank you to our winter blood drive volunteers
Thank you to our 22 blood donors for their 23 units of blood. Although we haven't hit our blood drive goal for the past two drives, we are grateful for all of the time and donations we have received.
Help Us Finish Our Roof Project
The Community Center roof and HVAC systems replacement are progressing toward completion in early to mid-December. The rain and snow have caused some project time delays, but the project is now back on track.
