Our Senior GOYAn’s and their families hosted a Burrito Breakfast Fundraiser for their mission trip to Project Mexico. They are going to be working with Project Mexico and building weather proof housing for people who need it. The fundraiser was a great success! They raised over $1900, served more than 150 people, and had a delicious breakfast following Liturgy. They are still in the process of raising funds, so if you haven’t had the opportunity and would like to support our kids and the families they will be serving, please follow this link or send a check to Saints Peter & Paul church with Project Mexico in the Memo Line.
“I’m excited to build a house and actually use my hands and physical talents to server others. Also, I’m excited to have another opportunity to grow closer to my friends and Christ.”
– Elias Anderson (Senior GOYA Vice President)
“Disconnecting from our privileged society is salient in order to truly understand the hardships that many around the world endure. It’s a beautiful sight to see the difference we can make on those less fortunate. I am excited to participate once again and to serve the people of Christ.”
– Daniel Bien (GOYAlumni Staff Member)
