New “Yawrk” Yankees @ Fenway “Pahk”

As part of our pilgrimage we spent time in Boston visiting Hellenic College Holy Cross (a Greek Orthodox college in Boston),

Faneuil Hall, and you guessed it, Fenway Park for a Yankees – Red Sox game! It was the perfect storm for our NYC/BOS trip!

Faith Love and Joy went to Feed My Starving Children and prepared 540 meals for people around the world who are starving to death. The night was successful with thousands of meals made in just an hour and a half time! After we helped to fill others, we filled ourselves with Butterburgers and Culver’s Frozen Custard! A really great night.

GOYA NYC/Boston Pilgrimage

This past weekend, our Senior GOYAns ventured to the East coast and took in two of the most American cities in this country. From churches, monasteries, orphanages, shrines, and the archdiocese our GOYAns witnessed Orthodoxy alive in the world today.

It was an amazing weekend jam packed with faith, history, and bagels. Our two 12 passenger vans were filled with kids, snacks and awesome music. The memories made on this trip have kick started our GOYA year, and will not be soon forgotten.

Also, we spent over an hour with His Eminence Archbishop Demetrios of America. He spoke with us, showed us his office, and of course took pictures as well. P.S. Pictured below is Sister Theonymphi (Sister T) is Fr. K’s sister!
