Kicking off the Year!

These past two weeks have been filled! GOYA and Jr. GOYA both had their first meetings of the year. Our kids baked cookies to further their understanding of the Sacraments and how we are called to participate in them!

Fall Youth Kick-Off

Last Sunday, the 9th, our GOYA year started off with bubble soccer, team building and gyros! This event was our biggest turn out yet, over 60 kids were present along with about 8 staff members! From jr. high, to high school, college kids, to parents, to priests. This was an awesome day filled with fun and fellowship!

Gardening God’s Creation

This Sunday, the Church School, Gardening Club and Environmental Ministry teamed up to make an awesome experiential day for our young people. Environmental Ministry and Church School created lessons to help
our students understand our role as leaders, cocreatorrs, and priests of Creation! After the lesson, our students went out and Gardening club led them to plant their very own flowers into the beautiful landscape of Saints Peter & Paul! After this beautiful day, our kids can see the flower they planted every week, and they can lead, create and offer our world back to God.
