Bishop Mark Bartosic will preside over this special prayer service, which will be followed by a lecture from Greek Orthodox scholar Rev. Dr. Deacon Perry Hamalis entitled, “Love God, Love Thy Neighbor, Love the Trees: Orthodox Reflections on Ecology, Theology, and Human Dignity.”

“It is Proper and Right to Sing to You, O God…” Exploring the Hymns and Prayers of the Divine Liturgy
Where did all the hymns from the Divine Liturgy come from? How were they chosen and why? Why don’t we pick our own hymns to sing?
Come join us in Coffee Connection this year to learn all about the common hymns and prayers of the Divine Liturgy. We promise not to make anyone sing, but after learning the meaning behind each hymn and prayer, you may want to sing out loud! Open to all adults.
