Old Testament Challenge for Great Lent 2019: The Path to Pascha

Great Lent is that special time of year when we can slow down from our fast-paced lives and spend
more time focused on prayer, fasting and almsgiving in order to grow closer to Christ. Reading the Bible is an integral part of this Path to Pascha. Since the Church prescribes parts of Genesis and Isaiah for daily study, the reading list here divides these 2 books in their entirety. The daily schedule covers the 40 days of Great Lent. New this year! The day’s reading will be posted on our Facebook page here where you can ask questions about the readings. So be sure to ‘like’ us on Facebook and join in the discussion.
