Divorce Rebuilders Support Group Meetings

Saints Peter and Paul’s Divorce Rebuilders, Glenview, IL, offers support, guidance and hope to those who are separated and divorced. meetings will begin this Fall starting on Monday October 14th through November 18th at 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm (once a week) for six weeks in the church library.

Our small group events are an opportunity for us to get to know other couples, as well as our parish clergy, in a more intimate and relaxed environment at OCC members’ homes.

Everyone will bring a small appetizer/dessert/drink to share. Father Rick or Father Panagiotis will join us during the evening and lead our discussion on “Conflict Resolution Within a Marriage.”

Coffee Connection: “The Antiphons: What’s an Antiphon?”

Come join us in Coffee Connection this year to learn all about the common hymns and prayers of the Divine Liturgy. We promise not to make anyone sing, but after learning the meaning behind each hymn and prayer, you may want to sing out loud!

– Why don’t we pick our own hymns to sing?

Angst is an IndieFlix Original, documentary designed to raise awareness around anxiety. The film includes interviews with kids, teens, educators, experts, parents and a very special interview with Michael Phelps. Our goal specifically is to help people identify and understand the symptoms of anxiety and encourage them to reach out for help. Angst screens in schools, communities and theaters around the world. The film and corresponding materials provide tools, resources and above all, hope.
