Dear Parishioners and Friends,
Because we had so much fun the last nine years, we are bringing back the golf outing for year 10. I would like to thank Father Rick and the Parish Council for naming me the Chairman of this event (again). This year’s golf outing will take place at Glenview Park Golf Club 800 Shermer Rd. on Saturday, October 7th. Proceeds of this year’s event will go to help our Parish Youth Director, Steven Thell continue to build up our Youth and Young Adult Ministries and our Athletic programs. We will start the day with a Saturday morning shotgun start and lunch after. Everyone is invited to play and participate. We welcome all men, women, young adults, children, and any relatives and friends. Please try to free up some time in your busy schedule to participate. It will be fun.
There are a few different ways for you to participate and help the Parish make this a successful event. First is by playing golf and bringing others to play with you. Donation to play golf is $150.00 which includes golf, cart, gifts, prizes, and lunch.
For those who do not play golf, there are still two ways you can participate. First, is for you and/or your business to sponsor a hole sign. A sign will be made with the message of your choice. You and/or your business will be noted in the event program book, in the monthly newsletter (The Messenger), and on our Parish website. An email will also be sent to all Parishioners noting your generous donation. There are also special donations and sponsorships that can be purchased to show your support.
The third way is to make a direct donation to the Parish. You can select from four levels of donations by choosing to be an Eagle, Birdie, Par, or Special Angel donor. All donations received this way will go directly to the Parish. None of these funds will be used for any of the costs of the golf event. They will go directly to support our Youth and Young Adult Ministries and Athletic program.
