After the Divine Liturgy on September 15th, the Altar Boys held their annual retreat. Led by Fr. Rick, this was an opportunity for him to take the Altar Boys through the basics of the divine services and to talk to them about his expectations going into the new ministry year.

Saints Peter and Paul’s Divorce Rebuilders, Glenview, IL, offers support, guidance and hope to those who are separated and divorced. meetings will begin this Fall starting on Monday October 14th through November 18th at 7:00 pm – 8:30 pm for six weeks in the church library.

I am continually grateful for everyone’s welcoming and patience as I get know you and the culture of the parish. It is certainly providential that I begin my ministry at Saints Peter and Paul so very near the beginning of the Ecclesiastical/Church New Year on September 1st. And it is certainly no accident that church ministries and activities begin again around this time.

The Metropolis of Chicago will host its First Annual Golf Outing on Monday, September 9 at Sydney Marovitz Golf Course (formerly known as Waveland).

This unique golf course is located between Lake Shore Drive and the shores of Lake Michigan, with unparalleled views of the lake, Montrose Harbor, and the city skyline. This is a 9-hole outing.
